Without a digital projector, there will be no new movies, no birthday parties, no music shows, no reunions.....
The film studios are doing away with 35mm film. Without upgrading to a digital system, there will be no way for the theater to play new movies. Digital movies arrive to the theater on a hard drive or are downloaded to a projector directly from the studio. There is no way to do this with the 1970's projector we currently have.
